Our pricing model is about as straight forward as they come:
- We bill a flat $15.00 USD for the first 20 minutes ($0.75/minute) and run the clock only while we’re actually doing work. Emails, phone calls, research and paperwork time is not tracked.
- After 20 minutes, we bill at $0.65/minute.
Because tasks, projects and servers come in all shapes and sizes, trying to guess at an estimate can be tricky at best – so we’re breaking things down into more manageable groups based on how long we anticipate things will take.
Small Projects, Maintenance & Quick Edits
Generally, each of these projects take less than 20 minutes and would only be subject to the flat fee. Should we expect them to take longer, we’ll notify you in advance of the work being done.
- Installing and configuring a basic plugin or two
- Updating installed plugins to their latest versions
- Upgrading core WordPress files (Keep your site safe – always run the latest version!)
- Minor tweaks and edits to a theme (Simple font, color or image changes)
- Full off-site backup of your WordPress install (Includes database; Saved for 90 days)
- New WP install (No themes, plugins or configuration)
Medium Projects & Large Edits
Most of the time, the projects in this list take us more than 20 minutes to do but won’t take more than an hour. Like the small stuff, if we dig in and see that it’s going to take longer, we’ll let you know before we get started.
- Full WP install (Includes your choice of theme importing existing data and a number of common plugins)
- Major theme changes (Layouts, sidebars and so on)
- Server migrations
- Custom widgets
Large Projects & Custom Quotes
We know that not everything falls into the above categories and sometimes it’s better to just have something fully custom developed for you. From themes to plugins and blogs to full-form corporate-style sites – we’re open to anything and are more than happy to provide you with a project estimate for whatever you have in mind – Just get in touch!
Retainer Work
By request, we now provide services on retainer in 1, 3, 5 and 10-hour packages on on one and three month terms. Like our regular track all time spent by the minute and carry over all time not used until the end of the term. Pricing is as follows:
- 1 hour: $36.00 ($0.60 / minute)
- 2 hours: $66.00 ($33.00 / hour; $0.55 / minute)
- 5 hours: $150.00 ($30.00 / hour; $0.50 / minute)
- 10 hours: $270.00 ($27.00 / hour; $0.45 / minute)
- Save 10% when signing to a three month term.
